Denver Broncos 0-3 (-1) @ New York Jets 0-3 (39.5): Jets 17-13

Keys: The only team in worse shape than the New York Jets might be the Denver Broncos, but at least they can blame their troubles on a month’s worth of attrition to key players. The Jets have just strong enough an offensive line to fend off the one thing the Broncos are supposed to do well, and while the Broncos can cover the Jets just fine, Denver will be rolling out Brett Rypien, their third QB in as many weeks, and this dude will be making his first start on the road. Unless he hands the ball over to Melvin Gordon 30 times and the Jets horrendous defense does their thing, or Brett’s uncle plays in his place and channels a 1992 Super Bowl MVP performance, I expect the Jets to take advantage of the depleted Broncos and finally get a win at home on the worst turf known to man. Hopefully the Broncos get out of northeast NJ with a full team.
Seattle Seahawks 3-0 (-5.5) @ Miami Dolphins 2-0 (54): Seahawks 27-21
Sunday, 1:00 PM, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, FL (Weather: Mostly Sunny; low 80s)
Keys: There’s no reason to believe the Seahawks can’t cover the 5.5 points when the Seahawks are flying high, the intercontinental travel means nothing to Pete Carroll’s teams and Russell Wilson is on fire. The question is whether the Dolphins can hold up their end of the bargain on the over. I doubt it.
Jacksonville Jaguars 1-2 (+2.5) v. Cincinnati Bengals 0-2-1 (49): Bengals 23-21

Keys: Something about the Browns getting four points seems like something to take advantage of.

Keys: The Ravens don’t have to travel far to avenge their loss v. the Kansas City Chiefs, but do you really expect the score to be 31-15? Maybe so, maybe not.

Keys: This is a pretty ridiculous O/U, but the Bills aren’t winning by shutting teams out, so, maybe it isn’t. The Raiders are so inconsistent it’s impossible to gauge them week-to-week. The reality is the Raiders are far worse then we think and the Bills are far better.

Keys: This game was postponed due to Cam Newton’s positive covid-19 test, but somehow only 24 hours no one else did. Do the math, the Patriots likely aren’t winning, but Bill Belichick knows Andy Reid and the Chiefs too well to lose by two TDs, and the Patriots can run on a porous Chiefs run defense.
Atlanta Falcons 0-3 (+7) @ Green Bay Packers 3-0 (57)*: Packers 35-27
Monday, 8:15 PM, Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI (Weather: Mostly cloudy; low 50s)
Keys: The Packers are home against the Bad News Birds, so make it rain.
